Let me tell you a little about the science and deceptions of water filters. I have been researching this field and doing water testing for the last 30 years. I will share with you the truth about water filters that the water companies don’t want you to know.

Many companies put out flashy ads that pull at our heart strings to sell cheap harmful filters that only remove a small portion, if any, of the toxins that are destroying your health.

Our most valuable possession is our good health! Ask yourself why our grandparents and great-grandparents were strong and enjoyed good health and lots of energy into their sunset years. They did not experience the water issues that we have today! Generally, water pollution can take some time to accumulate and so bad health indicators may take a long time to show up.

First off, low cost is the first huge red flag! Low-cost filters are too small to remove the toxins and heavy metals in the water. Buying a low-cost water filter gives you a false sense of security regarding your health. A cheap filter is not only worthless but it also gives you a false sense of water safety and good health.

• Take gravity filtration, it is one of the oldest filtration methods, which commonly uses charcoal and sediment filters. This might have been okay when one’s water source was an unspoiled well in the mountains. However, with modern city water, which has additives such as Fluoride, chloramines, carbon filters are not efficient in removing Fluoride, arsenic and chloramines – the three main toxins!

In fact, a prominent company (starts with a B) recently removed their fluoride filter from the market after being sued because it did not remove fluoride!

• In-line carbon block filters using activated carbon are not efficient in removing a modern city water’s additives, such as Fluoride, arsenic, and chloramines which are the primary issues with tap water.

Activated carbon is ideal for removing chlorine and chemicals such as pesticides, TriHaloMethanes like chloroform, and many Volatile Organic Chemicals that are components of gasoline, solvents, and industrial cleaners.

The thing is, the cities are using chloramines (a mixture of chlorine and ammonia) to disinfect the water. Activated carbon does not remove or handle chloramines. Why is this important? Chloramines can harm your kidneys and will kill your aquarium fish!

But this isn’t the main issue with carbon block filters! The key factor that is missed is the small size of the filter, which requires frequent changing and does not remove an acceptable amount of pollution, and most people do not change the carbon block filters frequently enough.

• Filters that are connected to the faucet and pitcher filters are a joke! They are much too small to do much of anything except give you a false sense of security. The bigger the filter is, the longer it will last and the more it can remove. The bigger the filter, the longer the water contact time is, thus, the more time there is for the filter to do a more thorough job.

• Distilled water filtration has several drawbacks.
  Distilled water lacks electrolytes like potassium and the 53 to 93 minerals your body needs.
  The water also can leach out minerals from your body.
  Not all solvents may be removed from the water.
  Some distillers also have plastic domes that can leach nano-plastics back into the water.

• Reverse Osmosis together with a salt regeneration water softener, is the most common homeowner water filtration system. It is also used in most bottled waters. You will find “pure” to describe it. According to my research and experience, there is nothing healthy about this system! Here is a list of its problems:

• It leaches out minerals from your body, worse than distilled water and can cause osteoporosis. The first question I ask when someone tells me that they are struggling with this condition, is how long have you been drinking reverse osmosis water?

• It is one of the main sources of nano-plastic that enters our bodies. When you quench your thirst with “pure” reverse osmosis water, the membrane sheds 240,000 nano-plastic particles per liter! This is like drinking a credit card of plastic every month! This has a detrimental effect on your hormones, your body, your digestion, your immunity, and is a contributor to many other diseases, including cancer.  Drinking nano-plastic water along with other things you may or may not be doing poses a terrifyingly serious risk to your health.

• It creates black fungus. If you cut open your tank, black moldy water will spew out. This is why there is a taste filter just before the faucet to block the visible mold. This is often, in my experience, where candidiasis originates.

• The water softener uses primarily sodium chloride or potassium chloride to replace the healthy calcium and magnesium that your body vitally needs. This overdoses a person on sodium or potassium when they shower or bathe, so they develop many diseases, including kidney and cardiac issues, and high blood pressure.

This is why I developed my water filtration system. I wanted healthy water!
